For this series I was inspired by the timeless designs of William Morris, and I've reinterpreted them to create a bolder, more modern style. This round rug embodies a contemporary twist on Morris's classic motifs, perfect for creating beautiful, customized spaces where you can relax and escape from the busy world.

William Morris (1834-1896) was a visionary British artist, designer, and writer who played a pivotal role in the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century. Born in Walthamstow, England, Morris's love for the decorative arts began early, and he honed his craft under Gothic revival architect G.E. Street at just seventeen.

In 1861, Morris founded Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co., later known as Morris & Co. This influential company produced exquisite furniture, stained glass, wallpaper, and home furnishings, all celebrated for their intricate patterns, natural themes, and medieval inspiration.

Morris's legacy in design is profound, advocating for the beauty and value of handmade craftsmanship in an age of industrial mass production. He believed that well-designed, decorative art should be accessible to everyone, enriching lives through beauty and quality.
